About SNIS Membership

We offer memberships for practicing neurointerventionalists, research scientists, APPs, technologists and trainees. We also offer an Associate membership for anyone that wants to join that does not qualify for any of our other categories. All members get a subscription to the Journal of NeuroInterventional Surgery (JNIS) included with their membership. You will also get reduced rates to SNIS meetings, access to SNIS Connect and the ability to serve on SNIS committees. All membership candidates must submit an application in the appropriate membership category. You can view all of our membership categories and apply online here: https://snisonline.org/joinsnis/. All applications are reviewed and your membership should be considered pending until you are notified. Senior membership applicants are reviewed by committee so that review process takes a little longer.

SNIS membership is effective January 1 through December 31. If you join SNIS during the year you will pay a prorated dues amount (if applicable).

Nothing! We offer free membership for Medical Students, Residents, Fellows and Research Fellows.

It depends on your current membership category.

  • Medical Student/Resident and Junior Members may advance to the next eligible membership level without submitting a new application. You need to be a current member and provide documentation verifying your progression to the next stage of training.
  • Clinical Associate and Associate Members will need to submit a new membership application if they wish to move to a different membership category.

SNIS auto-renew FAQ

Enrolling in automatic renewal is quick and easy:

  1. Log in to the SNIS Member Portal
  2. Navigate to My Billing Info
  3. Select Autopay & Billing
  4. Click Manage Autopay
  5. Add a credit card or debit card as your Payment Profile
  6. Enable Automatic Payments

Auto-renew will occur annually at the beginning of the membership year, January 1. You will receive an email receipt to confirm payment. You will be reminded of the upcoming charge before it occurs.

You will receive an email notification if we are unable to process your payment. You will need to manually pay your membership dues and add a new payment method in your member portal to re-enroll in automatic renewal.

SNIS provides membership rates at different levels based on your membership type. SNIS reserves the right to change the annual membership rates. You will be notified of any changes to membership dues before any charges occur.

Making updates or changes is just as easy as enrolling. Just log into the SNIS Member Portal and make any needed updates or changes in My Billing Info.

Yes! We use Stripe as our credit card processor. Cards are NOT stored in our membership database. Stripe exceeds the most stringent security standards.
