Neurointerventional Fellowship Match Program Information

The Neurointerventional Fellowship Match aims to introduce a coordinated approach to fellowship application, offers and acceptance across programs. Through the fellowship match process, programs will be matched to their prospective fellows approximately 14 months prior to the start of the Neurointerventional fellowship.

All program information and trainee applications will be managed by ERAS, and more information can be found at ERAS for Institutions and Information for Program Staff.

Please note that all CAST-certified programs are required to participate to the fellowship match, though there is a buffer period to allow programs to honor offers made to fellows who were accepted ahead of their commitments to the fellowship match process.

Program sign-on
All CAST- and ACGME-certified programs can sign on to ERAS between April 9 and May 26, 2025 using the New Program Submission Form . Please note that, for the first match cycle, you will be participating in the ERAS 2026 Season.

– ACGME programs: Please use your ACGME program number
– CAST programs: Please refer to your program’s accreditation number on the CAST Neuroendovascular program website. (4-digit number preceded by “NI”)
– Programs accredited by both ACGME and CAST: Please use the ACGME number

Following the registration, the program director will receive an invitation to access the PDWS (see below) from their DIO (ACGME-accredited programs), or AAMC ERAS (CAST-accredited programs).

Application management
ERAS Program Management will largely be performed through the Program Director’s Work Station (PDWS).

Please review all information, including contact information, to ensure that they are up-to-date. The program information can also be linked back to the program’s institutional website, where more details about the program can be easily accessed by applicants.

Training Track Information
A key feature of the Neurointerventional Fellowship Match is that it is designed to house two separate tracks. Depending on the program’s structure or need from year to year, each program can offer either one-year or two-year training positions (or both) each cycle. Therefore, every position offered should easily identify whether it is for one- or two-year training.

It is crucial that every program lists their offering(s) either (or both) as a one-year or a two-year training track in its/their title(s). As applicants are either eligible for one- or two-year tracks, based on whether they have completed prerequisites for one-year neurointerventional training positions, this information is necessary. Please list all positions starting with “1-year” or “2-year”.
